Vote of Confidence

  An old French proverb comes to mind," plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose”-- “The more things change, the more they remain the same.” ‘Change’ by itself is very difficult to impose. The basic human traits are deeply rooted and any change requires a lot of time, persistence, and unwavering perseverance. If we observe a broad sense of reality, things appear always in motion but the inherent cause for the change and the result, though appears in a different form, remains the same. In history and now, the reasons for the rise and fall of different empires, causes of war, the cycle of pandemics can always be attributed to the same basic human traits and behavior. Our political system has got different names over the course of time but the characters and the overall play of the politics remain the same. Random thoughts in the time of Corona

  As uncomfortable as it is the truth must be told. While patients are suffocating to death and their relatives desperately looking for beds in the hospital, our politicians face no such trouble, and the sufferers, by all means, are the normal people. For them, a single phone call is enough to reserve the most comfortable and luxurious cabin in Norvic or Grande whose bill would be taken care of by the national treasury. One has to understand what is unfolding here is more than a crisis induced by the COVID. It is the manifestation of the incompetence and indifference shown by the present and past government of our country. But we often forget that we too are accomplices and are equally to be blamed if not more for this ramification.
